Past Meetings: March 11, 2004

We had our optional pre-meeting dinner at Kerby's Koney Island, across the street from Kelly Services. We had about 20 people join us for dinner before our meeting.

Before we jumped into our topic for the evening, we had a few announcements:

• Next month is DPUG's 4th anniversary! We had our first meeting April 13, 2000, with 17 in attendance. We've been going strong since! To celebrate our anniversary we'll bring soft drinks and salty snacks (chips, pretzels, etc.). If you're a regular and you can bring something, that would be great.
• Next month's meeting will feature Rick Broida, one of our favorite guest speakers. He is our only planned agenda item; we thought we'd use the remaining meeting time to just chit-chat and network a bit in celebration of our anniversary.

• DPUG Co-founders Scott & Tracy Dreslinski gave a show and tell about their trip to the PalmSource Developers Conference February 10-12.

• Dr. David Urbanski, DPUG Member and President & CEO of HANDYDEX, presented WideRay, a product that allows you to beam to multiple users at once.

• Rick Broida gave us two huge boxes of "stuff". There was some good stuff, and some outdated stuff, but hey, it was free stuff!
