Past Meetings: April 10, 2003

Our topic for this month was "Security and Your Palm". We took a look at the the built-in Security application that came on your Palm, and the various ways you can customize it; both on your handheld and on your desktop. We also reviewed some third party products that provide added protection to your handheld:

• TealLock from TealPoint Software - adds an extra layer of protection over and above the standard Security application
• EasyLock from dseifert software production - provides an easy way to securely power on your Palm without having to enter a password
• eWallet from Ilium Software - a virtual wallet for your handheld, complete with a secure desktop application.
