• If you are developing on a Mac platform, you only have one option, and that is CodeWarrior, by Metrowerks. You must have knowledge of C or C++

• If you are developing on a PC platform, you have several choices:
  • If you know UNIX, you can use PRC-Tools, which is a UNIX-like environment. PRC-Tools is free.
  • If you know C or C++, you can use CodeWarrior by MetroWerks.
  • The gray boxes show the Rapid Application Development Packages. With these, you don’t need to know C or C++. They also have a nice WYSIWIG interface (What You See is What You Get).
