Possibly a late reply to your original post, but just come across the thread.
I too abandoned trying to get hold of Pictorico in the UK, even having e-mailed Calumet since I gather their US section sells Pictorico. The first response was encouraging but no reply to a follow up e-mail from me a few months later.
I settled on Permajet OHP Transfer film at 165 micron thickness. I have no experience of other substrates for digital negs, since this is my first incursion along this route using Mark Nelson's PDNs.
However, although the negs look 'blotchy' as they exit from the printer (perhaps Pictorico does this as well), they dry to a good looking finish, and four prints from negs on the Permajet are to my novice eye pleasing.
I would however been interested to know of anyone who has experience of Permajet in comparison with other substrates inc Pictorico. One always wonders whether one should be barking up another tree!
Thanks

Steve,
Can you feed back on your experience with Copyjet, although I must say I would be reluctant to have to go through the calibration process once more, that I have already done with Permajet!

I started out using Copyjet for the production of PDN negatives - exclusively used for Kallitype prints. Copyjet was recommended by somebody on the PDN user group. I was unable to find a supplier for Pictorico in the UK.
I have printed on Copyjet (A4) with an Epson 2100 and 2400 without difficulty - the negatives are instantly dry with a stable image. Occassionally I have encountered a sheet feed problem on the 2400 but a re-feed resolves this every time. Copyjet is only available in boxes of 100 - a large initial outlay but very cost effective when compared sheet for sheet with Pictrico.

I have just spent an age looking for some ohp and have come up empty handed.
Firstcall showed no Kentmere, only there own brand ohp, is that the same?
Jigsaw had no find on copyjet and I had no luck with Nova, there site is awful bye the way, few of the links seemed to work.
If Fotospeed have pictorico in stock it aint on the site as I just searched with no luck

I have just checked the Jigsaw24.com site re Copyjet. If you logically use the 'search for' box it comes up with no find. However if you put copyjet into the Search by Catalogue Code box then bingo

Anyone got any feedback on that agfa copyjet film, i am reluctant to spend £80 on 100 sheets if it is sub-standard compared to Permajet and Pictorico. BTW what is the weight of the Agfa film?

Dave,
I've never used the product (Agfa) but Christian Nze in France reports that it works very well. Agfa Copjet isn't marketed in the US but I wish it was.
As far as the Permajet is concerned I've not used it either but it may not be a suitable substrate for Epson OEM inks as it doesn't have an adequate receptor base to allow quick penetration of the ink to prevent pooling. I vaguely recall someone mentioning that Permajet may be the same product as the Ultrafine Clear Film which isn't a great product from my experience. It gave me the same problems as you have described (severe exit roller marks.)
Hope this helps,
