Has anyone else received a strange PM recently (like today)? Just trying to decide if it was an oddity or spamming.

got one too - what's up with that? Didn't think it was spam.. well, suspected it but wasn't sure so I replied.

I got that one too, and it didn't seem like the sort of thing that the Jeanette I know from APUG would send me, so I just didn't answer it, figuring it was spam. I guess I was right.

I got one just now, and it indicates that "Jeanette" is on line.

I'm pretty sure if you really start looking at the logs, you'll discover a bot of some kind sitting here. Maybe I'm wrong and there is a real person sitting there, but unlikely. Normally if you PM someone to say hi, it's someone that you know. I can say that I really know very few people here or at APUG. So it is either a bot, or someone that decided to play around and is doing things the hard way.
