Hi all,

I asked this over at APUG, but didn't get anywhere, soooo....

I was given a bunch of Polaroid 52 film, and would ilke to use it in my very
basic, 4 x 5 wooden box pinhole camera. I think I can figure out the logistics
of the exposure part... but I would like to know if anyone has ever used this
stuff without a "back" that squeezes the goo out of the carrier. Can that be
done manually, like with a brayer?

and how long is the development time... a minute?

I've never used the stuff, so I'm clueless, but motivated to figure it out!

You can shoot Type 52 in a ReadyLoader style film holder. To process, it's far better to use a Polaroid 4x5 holder/processor.

good luck with your search, once you get one make sure you give it a good clean as they can get a little rusty "looking" around the edges from the chems being forced out the sides, it mostly just rubs off. They are very easy to open and clean, but if you have any problems let me know and I'll try to guide you through it
