I think , I would love to buy a basalt wall picture of ansel adams which printed with same basalt powder. There are inks which made by carbon powder and i think this can be used also. I think real problem is to not wet the particles , may be this is printing with a mud :)

I have a friend who is a painter. His studio was damaged in a flood. He has been using the mud (clay) that was deposited there to paint with.

Really gorgeous works.
