Well, I voluntarily left Apug because they censored me for providing (non derrogatory) personal information (name and town of residence) about a former Apug member. I provided this information in response to an enquiry from another Apug member. As it turned out the information was available on the internet from a Google search and had been posted by the former Apug member himself.
I wouldn't discuss Bob Shell with the Pope at this point since some people have biased views of what is open for discussion.
If I were you, I might want to be aware of that incident.
BTW, I will be interested to see the reponse to this post.

The topic thread was made tounge and check, though I think there is far to much drama and too many drama queens (you can fill in the names) posting on APUG now. I only go there now to check Alt Process threads.

Donald that is an overt troll and an extremely one sided rendition of what transpired on APUG. Please be aware that I will moderate here as I do on APUG.

Trolling is always bad.
FWIW I will show less tolarance for drama queens and prima donnas here as I think that they are the least tolerable and most corrosive.
Just call me Don JD. And no it wasn't a troll by any means.
I'm just expressing my opinion.
This is the Lounge isn't it. And I was posting to my own thread.
And as far as I'm concerned there are drama queens on APUG - too many.

not me, but maybe others
who decides what, why and how to moderate/censor?
are we not allowed to discuss certain issues?

I'd like this to be a forum built around the users and what they wish to discuss, but I have my limits.
You can talk about anything you like (in the lounge) and yet there is a slim chance I'll moderate a post. I think I deleted a post 6 or 8 months back, but I'm not sure.
Simply assume that trolling, taunting and insults are off limits in posts. Thread topics that follow a similar vein are also going to get the axe. I'm also likely to delete any threads or posts that focus on other forums and the problems the poster had there.
You can discuss Bob Shell here, but I won't join in and I'm hopeful no one else will, but at the end of the day

Ahem, is it of substantial importance to read the 'Bob Shell' story? Is he some sort of a guru with unusual knowledge or does he pass on tips & tricks?
Funny thing, I see this happen in several forums now and then, that someone starts a discussion about a person nobody else knows or has heard of.
Uh, no, better don't post a link to the story, I don't have too much time anyway :D

Does Bob Shell give good prices on gasoline? I prefer Chevron, but that's just me...I hear it's analog power, but I don't really understand it...
Cheers!

Just for the record Bob Shell made it to Wikipedia, where you can read all you probably want to know.
