I stumbled upon this forum from APUG, where I lurk and learn. I'm studying photography at a local community college, and I've still got a lot of hours to spend perfecting my printing skills.
That said, I have been known to scan my work, to avoid going cross-eyed from using Spottone (love the stuff, but I hate it too) on a print. I find it easier to zap spots digitally.
I've got 35mm cameras and a rangefinder, but recently purchased a Speed Graphic with a 120 back. This is a pretty steep learning curve for me. I've got a manual, but I really need to find someone to walk me through the process. Therefore, I may have to wait until the fall semester begins, before I get into using the Graphex. I've been introduced to large format, but I've only gotten to actually make one Polaroid image.
Thanks,
Mary
