I seem to have misplaced the "edit" button. I thought it was at the bottom of each post along with "pm" and "reply with quote" but now I can't find it.

Well, that's weird. I post a new thread, and suddenly there's "edit" between "pm" and "reply with quote." But it's not there in the posts in previously existing threads on the site, at least not for me. What's up with that?
