Hi All,

DPUG has had a 6pt release update. This is needed to carry on with some new back end work for the site. If you have any problems just let us know. The core system has been updated and tomorrow some of the templating will be updated. One thing you may notice is the new system editor. vBulletin now supports this (ckeditor) which is compatible with all browsers. It has some neat features such as auto save. I haven't had a chance yet to examine it thoroughly.

Thanks,
Sean

Sean, any plans to update APUG with this new editor as well? One thing to keep in mind though, is you may wish to disable the different font options like font type at least. It may end up with loads of different fonts in the threads, not making the display of threads more clearly. ;)

I think you need to limit the number of styles, or better, just disable the font and size options completely.

Hi Sean,
I was wondering I have a whole lot of new images to share and get opinions on. I don't want to take up all the gallery space, Is there going to be a portfolio section?

Yes, I'll be bringing the portfolio over in the near future. In the meantime check out the DPUG Gallery then click the subnav link "My Stuff", I think you can create your own category there and upload images. I have not tested it yet.

The APUG update is a bit more complex as it runs several more custom codes but it's not too far off since DPUG has been running well on 4.1.4 :)

I'm working to build my Mexico photographs for an iPad and thought how to transfer them from the tablet to DPUG.
Any suggestions? Or should I just try to use Lightroom instead?
Thanks!! :-)

Sorry to be so late to answer this, but there is no ipad specific way to upload. There is a batch upload that should work.
