At the risk of sounding really dumb here: why can't I access the gallery? I remember I was able to browse the images here just a few days ago, now I get the "Rudeofus, you do not have permission to access this page." message. Did something change in the mean time? I'm not aware of any wrong doing from my side ...

Curt, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I'm getting the same problem.

Curt,

yes, exactly like this (except for the user name, of course). It's still not working for me. I vaguely remember some forum wouldn't let you browse the gallery unless you are a paying subscriber, and I wouldn't have a problem with this, if hybridphoto adopted this model (they could have mentioned it at least FWIW). But right now I just get this message which tells me nothing but to bug off :(

I just tried to take a look in the gallery and got the same message as well. Never had a problem getting in before

I'm looking into it, but at this point I'm clueless...

I haven't visited the site for a couple of days, and was rudely surprised to get the same message as the OP, and others here. Will there be some type of announcement when this problem (hopefully) is corrected.

That, along with a message from 'RobertWilliams' made for a disappointing drop-in.

When I come to the site and then directly to the gallery without logging in it asks me to log in. When I do the redirect tries to find my account but comes up with an http error. Then, from that point on, when I try to hit the gallery I get the same message everyone else has been talking about. Hope it helps.

sure does. as I was unable to repeat the error. Does it work when you login normally?

jd, I was logged in automatically and was not able to access the gallery. I then manually logged out and relogged in, and the gallery is still inaccessible for me. Hope that helps. Please PM me if you need someone with extended unix/linux admin experience to help you sort out this issue.

JD, same here. Tried logging out and logging in, no luck. Also, tried a few other pages and got the same message on links. As a point of interest, the "Donate" page wouldn't load at all.

Anyway, this is the message I get

- home tab is not working at all

- I found this in my browser error console:
- Security Error: Content at http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/ may not load data from http://www.hybridphoto.com/gallery/index.php.

JD, my experience with the message has been the same as the previous posters. I experience it at initial log-in, and apparently only when I try to access the Gallery. Additionally I just tried the Log-off/Log-in routine and the results were the same.

Is the Gallery set up to use a different or modified cookie? I get the same error message. Then, when I try to access my account, watched threads, or anything else personal to my account the error remains. I have to log out and back in again. Perhaps a bad cookie pushed from the Gallery is replacing the previously active cookie?

I think it's something related to the forum software and/or authorization policies... Let's hope it will be sorted out quickly.

just fyi: it is not just the Gallery that is inaccessible.
The Links tab returns the same error.
Home-> Forum Moderation Team returns Not Found. This might be because the feature was never configured, but it ought to be fixed or at least return a better
message.
Home-> Terms of Service as above, Not Found
Home-> Privacy Policy as above, Not Found
Home-> Contact Us does nothing.
The Donate tab does nothing. Is it not used or just broken?

Looks like a little maintenance is in order:D

Okay. I've escalated this to a higher (smarter) authority and will keep you posted.
