Thought it would be interesting to get feedback on my latest submission for a Uni project. The module was 'The Photographic Document' and within that we had to think up ( as a group ) a 'theme' then react to the theme with our final piece.

This is my reaction to the word 'roots' as used in the concept of history/foundations etc. ( rather than physical roots of a plant ).

Not sure how much to add.. So i'll let the images stand on their own without any explanation then answer any questions.

The Images were taken on Delta 400 (chosen as I wasn't sure what the light would be like - otherwise I'd have used 100 ) using a Yashicamat LM TLR. Scanned and assembled into the final work with minimal post processing (if any ).

The final print was going to be 2.1m wide by 80cm but cost kept it to about half that. In fact half that turned out to be a pretty good size I think.
