Hello all, I had a family emergency that delayed the remainder of my prints getting shipped - the remaining prints are on their way and my apologies for the wait. I am thoroughly enjoying the prints I have received thus far.

Thursday I received a very nice ink jet print from Ray Heath, "Watching the Pasha". IMO, there is a bit of subtext to this photo and I have to compliment Ray for capturing a moment that probably many would have passed on. Although I don't think it is possible to tell a story with a single photograph, there is definitly the feel of a narative in the image. Well done Ray!
I do have one technical nit to pick; unfortunately there are printer roller marks visible on the bottom third of the print. Otherwise the print density and color balance seems to be perfect.
BTW, Ray I have the same camera as you do.

g'day Don
thnx for the considered comments
i, like everyone else in my part of the world, photographed the unbelievable sight of a huge ship on our family beach
though an amazing event, i quickly realised that the most interesting story was not the boat on the beach but how people responded to the spectacle
printer roller marks, one my ongoing issues, i'm sorry i didn't notice the marks on these prints, i thought the printer was behaving that day
i'm having lots of trouble when i print digital negs on overhead transparency material, sometimes there are marks, sometimes there aren't
i've tried various settings and papers, nothing gives consistent results
if you'd like another print just let me know

The prints were dispatched in tubes via USPS to all participants on Monday afternoon. The good folks at USPS said it would take 6-10 business days to cross the pond to the UK folks. The domestic mails will vary. I expect the folks in Georgia should have them in a few days.
Enjoy them.

Mines arrived Joe. Many thanks indeed. I have always enjoyed this series of images and am only too glad to have another to go with the plt/pd image that I already have :)
