I can't believe people post this crap on this forum,
and even less members answering to it! :mad:

And how exactly is your response less 'crappy' than the original question ?

I thought it was pretty funny, posting a question about how to get the best software to spam the forum. But you can just use the report post button and JD will get rid of it.

As Wikipedia points out..."In addition, the software can avoid the suspicions of forum administrators by first registering to make a post in the form of a question which mentions the spam product ("Where can I get...?"), before registering another account to post a spam link which mentions the product".

Mmmm...you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to see what's going on here then. What is it with Spammers? Don't you have anything better to do?

It certainly is not less crappy, you are right.

With common sense in mind, I just asked myself what this post has to do with this forum.
But it seems we both failed, as we gave 'hybrid' response to what the original spammer was looking for. ;)

Indeed.....Wikipedia again....."The side effect of these innocent-looking posts is that helpful forum visitors may search on a search engine (e.g. Google) for the product and themselves post a link to help out, thus bolstering the product's Google stats without falling afoul of forum posting policies."

Love your attitude JD.
That's exactly the right approach to the situation.

Good morning;

I have never had any problem with special spam software. Don't need it. SPAM just keeps coming into the Inbox without anything special to help it along.

Enjoy;
