what's happening ?
Superbly timed question! Received the last prints the other day. I intend to divide and package the prints for shipping this weekend. Participants should start to receive their prints by the end of next week...

The exchange prints are packaged and ready to ship tomorrow. There was one person who signed up and did not submit prints, so one of your prints will be returned.
To avoid spoiling the surprise when your prints arrive, I will refrain from say too much about them, but there are couple comments that I would like to share. There is a good range of print types, e.g., Van Dyke, Gum Bichromate, etc. Each print type is lovely. Most print types are my first exposure to that print type. They motivate me to continue pursuing alternative printing.
To this point in my life photography has been largely an intellectual pursuit about trying to communicate an idea, a concept, a thought, a feeling, or an emotion through photographic "images". These prints are making me think more about tangible photographs as art artifacts. As a consequence, I am now thinking about the "physical product" of my future artistic work differently.
Thank you for sharing your work and I hope that you enjoy your prints!
Jay
thanks for the update and for taking on the challenge of organizing and trying to see that people kept their agreement.
Also, it is nice to hear you have personally gotten so much more about your own work, that is always wonderful "side gift"

The prints were mailed today... the guys who live close to me might get them as early as tomorrow, but more likely Wednesday'ish. Please let me know when they arrive.

Yes, indeed, they did arrive today.
I haven't had a chance to really take the time to look at them closely and read the information with them, but a brief look is certainly impressive.
A very high level of work in that package !!

Christmas in June,
the prints arrived today just as i was leaving the house. Of course, i had to go back in and open the envelope as quickly as possible.
thanks to everyone for the thought and work that went into this exchange.
Well, I got my package of prints. Thank you, everybody. Great to see such variety.
David - lovely colour, interesting cultural/spiritual comment
Jay - Great image - would like to see others in the series
Daniel - the first VDB print I've seen in person. Love the lines, the light in it. VDB will have to go on my list of things to try someday.
Tom - Wonderful glow!
Ann - a digital lith - another first glimpse of actual process for me. The lith effect really suits the subject.
