It's been a while since I have posted here and it looks like this site is growing pretty well too. I just posted a new portfolio on my web site Keeping the Lights On (http://www.lofgreenimages.com/KeepingTheLightsOnAbouthtml.html). It has taken a while to get these together and I have two more I want to add to this body of work. Take a look, I would love to hear any feed back you may have on it. Especially JD, I'd like to hear what your take on these are.

Thanks,
D.

Try this one :D (http://www.lofgreenimages.com/KeepingTheLightsOn.html)

A little common sense is needed :)

You could have told him 18 months ago . . . . . . . . now how many brain cells to be a moderator ? :D

Derek,

Very impressive site, and stunning images in the new one. I also liked the Black and White portfolio. A couple of the images looked familiar and I think I may have viewed them over on APUG. They looked even better here.

I didn't see this post until today.

That's no excuse :D

Actually he needs to add a 404 page to redirect back to his site's root if a files not found, the service providers page makes it seem the site doesn't exist when the original link is followed.

So, I was able to get into Derek's site earlier today, and did post my comments at that time. When I just tried the link again, guess what, got a "Page not found" error. Go figure!

His link has added text making it invalid.

It should be:

http://www.lofgreenimages.com/KeepingTheLightsOn.html

So maybe you clicked the correct link first time that I posted yesterday :D

Ian,

Makes sense to me, I wasn't aware he had made those changes. It's a very impressive site IMO, so I am hoping he does make the necessary changes

Nice concept, Derek, and good images. It's something that bugs me a lot, lights on for no useful purpose, and this is a great way to make the point. You might think of doing some images of everyday locations - shopping malls and commercial strips come to mind - where the wastage is also great.

Minor typo on your site - "weather" should be "whether" (i.e. summer weather is hot whether you are in New York or Chicago...) :)

Best, Ben

Thanks everyone. I posted that one a while ago and have since redesigned my website. That's why there were so many bad links. But it does bring up the fact that I need to make some redirects in the old links to the new ones. And fix my spelling.

I do have more images coming for that portfolio so I will keep you all posted when there are more added.

For the record here is the new link: http://www.lofgreenimages.com/KeepingTheLightsOn.html
