    V700 vs v750

It's time to get a new scanner. I scan mainly 35mm and 120 film in 6x6 format. Mostly in BW for now because i am hooked with bw Will do color from time to time and maybe more later.

Which one do you guys recommend?

I opted to bite the bullet and go for the V750, because when I looked at dry mounted scanned images from the V700 & V750, the latter produced marginally but visibly clearer scans. What you need to decide if whether you want to pay for the better quality. I do not know the quality differences for wet mounted scans however. If money's no object I can recommend Hassleblad's X series scanners..... but they are VERY expensive.

The alternative would be the Nikon Coolscan 9000 ED
