Praise for UK scanning lab service

Have used these guys a few times now

    http://www.photo-express.co.uk/services.html

I can very highly recommend them. 35mm developing and then 6Mp scans using Noritsu equipment for £4.00 inc return postage per film!!!

Very impressed with the quality of the scans, and they are fast! every time I have used them they have done a same-day turnaround at their end.

I was considering buying my own scanner, but honestly cannot justify it with this sort of service available.

PS. I'm normally over at APUG, but didn't dare mention the S word there!

Thanks for posting. My regular lab closed recently and this one is just down the road (and cheap!)

Would like to add my thanks.

I sent these guys a roll of Superia 400 - it came back within a couple of days and the scans are fine for proofing / web stuff - probably even small prints. Excellent value for money at £4.

It took a while to get around to using them, but I just got 10 rolls of XP2 and Ektar back on Wednesday after posting Monday. Processed and scanned @ £4 a roll 3024 × 2005 (6.1 MP). I'll rescan the best shots, but on the whole this was a good job and very good at the price.

    Mr rusty

I've also had good results with labs using Noritsu (for example) I've just moved back to Australia and used a local service (Photocontinental) and they use the Noritsu as well.

Scans are what I have come to expect from the Noritsu, but their pricing was .... far less attractive AU$20
