Lousy service from Canon Hong Kong

    For information.
My wifes Canon Ixus 980is have dust on the sensor.
I went ot Canon service and asked for a quotation for cleaning the sensor.
After a long discussion trying to convince the service attendant that the mark we can see on the photos were not normal (1st step) and were from dust on the sensor (2nd step) she insisted on giving me quotations to replace the LCD and the CCD but refused to give a quotation to clean the CCD.
As the service works for Canon Macau is performed in Hong Kong, I sent already 2 emails to Canon Hong Kong. Unfortunately they didn't answer.
Unfortunately, I am the owner of 12 Canon cameras from different generations. I should have choosen Nikon a few years ago...

    Finally they reply me!
    They don't clean the sensor!
    They only replace it!

are there any camera service/repair shops nearby that can provide a sensor cleaning?
Scientists say because of global warming they expect the world's oceans to rise four and a half feet. The scientists say this can mean only one thing : Gary Coleman is going to drown.
