    Printing problem

My Epson 2200 has recently started printing horizontal bands across my prints. Any suggestions as to what is causing this? I've done the head cleaning thing but no change. The same problem occurred a few weeks ago, went through the same routine and eventually the problem went away for a while. Now it's back.

I had this problem once with an Epson 3000, likely a clogged head, try printing at a different resolution to try and clear it.

This is the all too familiar roller mark problem. If you use non-Epson inks or papers, or don't have the printer options set up perfectly, you get the marks. The rollers don't really do anything useful, so there are a couple of methods to keep them out of the way with toothpicks or cable ties.

Thanks for the replies. I'm using Epson inks, but hadn't connected the problem to other brands of paper. I'll be relieving those rollers of their duties asap. Cheers,
