    Stamping the back of prints

Hi, I'd like to get a stamp made up to stamp the back of my inkjet prints. The stamp will contain details of the print etc.
I use Ilford Gold Fibre Silk paper and would like to know if the standard ink used in stamp pads will work on the back of this paper - will it dry, will it stay on the paper and will it affect the paper?

    Cheers
    Simon

Go to a stamp maker with a paper sample and ask them -- this is what I did. Although companies that make them are much less common than they once were, custom stamps are easily made and those that do it are more often than not very knowledgeable. At one time (as recently as the '80s) every print shop had at a minimum a relationship with a stamp maker and custom stamps could be purchased for around $10-20.00 per square inch.

    stamps...

There are many places to get stamps.
What is important, is to get archival non acid ink pads.
