Inkaid for fine art watercolor papers

Is anyone using inkaid to prep fine art watercolor papers for inkjet printing?

I came across the work of Carol Hicks in the latest issue of Silvershotz magazine.

One particular image caught my eye.

The visible paper texture reminds me of my gum prints on Rives BFK.

And FWIW, I thought the current issue of Silvershotz was one of the better issues I've looked at in a while.

I've been meaning to play with inkaid but not gotten around to it yet.
Re Silvershotz -- I let my subscription lapse. In general, I think Lenswork present a broader range of compelling images. I guess I will need to find the latest issue ...
