    What version of Photo Shop

I have a HP computer 4GB memory,500GB hard drive, windows Vista and a HP psc 1350 all in one scanner. I would like to know what version of photo shop to install. Right now I only upload photos to Apug gallery, and they all mush out.I intend to upgrade the scanner in the future. Any Ideas?

Any of the latest versions of Photoshop will work fine with your hardware. CS4 does need a good display adapter that is fast and has a lot of display memory.

There maybe other factors that could influence your choice of PS version.

Thanks Don, Right now its just downloading to Apug I can't say whats in the future cs4 is the latest version and probably the most expensive . I'm thinking it mite be far beyond my need with the scanner I have. On Amazone I see version 7 for about $ 70.00 . Is there much deference between the two?

Photoshop Elements 7 would be a fine choice. If you shop around you can pick up a copy for less than $70. A few weeks ago it was being discounted for $39.99.

I would post those questions under image editing.

You might check PhotoLine (http://www.pl32.com). It's a 64 bit application, extremely fast (at least on my mac) and costs less than 60 Euros.
