Welcome to HybridPhoto.com!
Hi All,
Well we talked about this concept a while back and I think we're finally getting somewhere. Please keep in mind the site is still under construction, however your feedback is greatly needed and appreciated! Fell free to post feedback in the dedicated feedback forum.
Thanks,
Sean

This is an excellent project to go forward with and Elevator is very happy to be a sponsor and continue with you.
Good luck and I can assure you it will grow.

Sean,
Thanks for putting this site together. While I prefer traditional film capture for most things, I think that it makes a lot of sense to create a separate site so that the most-easily-offended traditional photographers don't stroke out every time digital is mentioned or hinted at on the APUG site. Like it or not, digital is here for keeps, and it is only wise that we learn to make the process do what we want rather than the opposite.

Thanks for this. I think that digital techniques have enhanced film as an origination medium rather than diminished it. This applies to both still photography and cinematography. More doors have been opened than closed.
Is this site intended as a stand-alone site, or do you see APUG remaining as the forum for discussing the few neutral or near-neutral issues, like lighting for example?
Thanks,
Helen

Thanks Sean. I enjoy working with film but I do like to explore other mediums as well. Why limit yourself?

Thenks Sean! This one will take-off as well. You're King Midas.

Thanks Sean for the new site. Hopefully we can cohabitat both sites with discussions continuing from one site to the other.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! The current forum categories were what I could come up with off the top of my head. I am sure there are many categories missing so if you think any of the categories should be altered or new categories added please post a request in the feedback forum and we'll discuss it. Feel free to use APUG for general traditional talk but I DO understand if the hybrid group prefers to keep such discussions here. If so we can create forums like Helen mentioned above such as "Lighting", etc. New forums will be added here like we do at APUG, so just post a request in the feedback forum and the community can discuss it, then i can add it if everyone agrees. Thanks again, Sean
