Stolen cameras in Denver
I posted this on APUG, but I figured I'd post it here too. I was in Denver this past week, and on my last day there, I had left my camera bag in my friend's SUV. Someone broke out the back window and stole everything. The bag had a D80 with kit lens and all of my SD cards. I also had a Rolleicord III loaded with HP5+ film. It still has the leather case on it. If you happen to come across either of these (especially together in suspicious circumstances) please let me know, or the Denver police as a report has been filed. Luckily I didn't have my flashes or additional lenses in there. I'll really miss that Rolleicord though. I hope someone can help, I'd be glad to pay.

One of the best ways I could think to identify either would be to have the film developed (I can tell you what's on there) and/or do data recovery on the cards (TestDisk is a free program that does this).

I had all my gear stolen once, long time ago. If you have homeowners insurance they usually cover loss like that from your vehicle, oddly enough, as long as the equipment is not business related.
From my experience, consider it long gone, get on with figuring out how to replace it. The bright side is you get to buy stuff!
Oh and of course, in the future, put all valuables out of sight in your trunk.
