Septac lens covers

Hello, i have just joined Dpug, i have got a Dallmeyer Septac Lens 51mm F1.5 and are looking for a lens cap for front and back of this lens, does anyone know where i can find these

Lens caps are getting harder to find in the UK, there was a shop in Worcester that had a big drawer full of assorted lens caps but it was closed for refitting last time I was there and the photo side may now have gone.

Try the next Wolverhampton Camera Fair in April as there's one stall holder (the organiser) with boxes full of lens caps. Alternately make your own, not a difficult as you might think. I'm using bakerlite lids from old chemical bottles (jars) - these look OK, I've a good variety of sizes, and just need a little bit of work to file the internal threads to make a good push on fit. A quick and functional temporary rear lens cap which fit's s few lenses is a milk bottle top .

Hi Ian, thanks for that info about lens, the Dalleyer will go to camera fair see what i can get, will be putting on ebay so want to present it well never though about that, also looking for box to pack it in.
