    Newbie

    Another newbie here.

I've lurked over at APUG for a bit now, but seeing that I'm still mostly digital & that's a dirty word there, never registered. This forum seems like the proper home for where I'm going. I recently went back to film with a bargain 645Pro rig. So, I'm re-learning film and learning from scratch MF. Right now I'm just getting my bearings on the various 120 films available & figuring out what I like. I'd like to eventually do my own developing of B&W, but printing will be a digital process. Anyway, looking to learn a lot here.

    Claude?

Welcome to hybridphoto from another newbie. That Mamiya is a fine camera, the glass is stellar. And with film you can't really go wrong. I'm of the opinion that all of it is good, and that it's a matter of testing how to use it more than anything else. I too have become a bit fascinated with the control digital has to offer, but I'll attempt to use it printing alt process eventually.

Well come to Hybrid. You'll get good advice here on film as well as output and everything between.
