Anyone know of a good books about scanning?

I am looking for a good reference to scanning - I have a large number of negatives that I want to scan, but have no idea where to start!

(I would like to DIY it for most of them, with a couple of "special" ones to have professionally scanned)

    Thanks!

Bromo, IMO the best book available is Real World Scanning and Halftones. It is one that we recommend to folks who come to our scanning workshops.
