Welcome to the Detroit Palm Users Group (DPUG). We are a group of 660 people who own handhelds that run the Palm operating system. We started in April 2000. Our goal is to provide a social setting where people can network and exchange information, and learn more about their handheld devices. We meet once a month to review and demonstrate software and hardware products and accessories, and then give away some great door prizes. Our meetings are free, and DPUG membership is free as well. DPUG is a non-profit corporation.
If you'd like to stay up to date with DPUG related news and information, please join. Membership is free, and filling out this form does not in any way obligate you to come to our meetings. Also, please feel free to attend our next meeting whether you complete the form or not.
We meet once a month (except July and August) at Kelly Services Corporate Headquarters in Troy, Michigan (southeast corner of Big Beaver/16 mile and Crooks). For more info on our next meeting, click here.
DPUG in the news:
We've been fortunate enough to have been mentioned in a couple of different newspaper articles:
NOTE: This Palm User Group is only intended for people with any handheld that runs the the Palm operating system. This includes devices made by Palm Computing, Handspring, IBM, Qualcomm, Symbol, and TRG. This really isn't the place for people with Microsoft Pocket PC's, Compaq iPAQ's, HP Jornada's, etc. Sorry.
Curious about what kinds of models DPUG members own? This graph shows you up-to-date statistics on which models our members own (several members own multiple models).
